The Manchester Young Republicans Summer Social Cookout  with Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee

Manchester-On Sunday August 13th at 1PM, the Greater Manchester Young Republicans will host their Annual Summer Social with Governor Mike Huckabee and Gubernatorial Candidate Rep. Jim Coburn. The cookout will include free food, be open to Republicans under age 40 and will focus on youth issues of today.

The event will take place at the home of Cliff Hurst, 250 Gingrass Avein Manchester [Click Here]. “We could not have a better pair of speakers for this event,” said Greater Manchester Young Republican Chairman David Hurst.

“Huckabee has taken on numerous national leadership roles. In addition to being chairman of both the National Governors Association and the Education Commission of the States, he's the immediate past president of the Council of State Governments. He has shown great initiative in finding better ways to educate our youth while being a national leader in healthcare reform. “

“Gubernatorial Candidate Representative Jim Coburn is working hard to bring decisive leadership to the Governors Office of our state. He also has plans to bring needed reform to our state education system, while pushing for a more accessible and affordable health care system,” said Hurst. “Coburn has also shown great initiative in proposing a constitutional amendment to be put before the voters that would eliminate the state’s ability to tax a person’s income once and for all. ”Tom DeRosa, Chairman of the New Hampshire State College Republicans will also be there with a number of local College Republicans, “The St. Anselm College Republicans are excited to be continuing their work with the Greater Manchester Young Republicans to offer the youth of our party another excellent opportunity to discuss important issues with party leaders.”
