Young
Leaders for Bob Baines
Paid for By
John Kerry
They call
themselves a “bipartisan group of Manchester’s Best and Brightest”. When
I read this statement, which appeared on their web site, it jumped out at me. A
bipartisan group of youths support Bob Baines!!! Could this be, the youth
support the same Bob Baines that ran my alma mater. He was the one who ran West
High like a prison camp by taking away every thing fun like senior skip day, the
same Bob Baines who tried to ban God Smack from playing at Singer Park, the same
Bob Baines who tried squashing the Verizon Center. How could this be?
After investigating further
into the matter I came upon a few answers. John Kerry was behind it!! Okay,
John Kerry is not directly behind the effort but he does have his finger prints
all over it. The web site goes on to say “a group of leading young people
from the city have formed an organization supporting the Mayor's reelection”
Well that’s
funny, because the web site these Young Leaders for Baines are using is
registered to the Manchester City Democrats. Okay, although the site is a bit
misleading and it doesn’t in fact say it was paid for by the Manchester City
Democrats, where does John Kerry come in?
Upon
further investigation, I discovered the Administrative Contact for this site is
none other than Geoff Wetrosky. Who is Geoff Wetrosky, an up and coming
Manchester business leader? No, Geoff is a democratic operative who’s entire
salary is being paid for compliments of John Kerry. It turns out Geoff is no
stranger to the election process working for the Democrats in Florida and South
Dakota.
On another
subject, besides how dishonest and misleading these so called Youth leaders for
Baines are, they are also some of the most conceited and arrogant people in
Manchester. Who else would anoint themselves with the title “Manchester’s Best
and Brightest”?

Bob Baines’ Campaign Manager Caught Stealing
Seeks Refuge at NH State Democrat Party
Chair’s Home
Manchester, NH: Today the New Hampshire Republican State Committee filed a
police report with the Manchester Police Department after mayoral candidate Bob
Baines' campaign manager, Geoff Wetrosky, was caught stealing signs belonging to
the NH GOP late last night.
“Stealing signs is a desperate act employed by a desperate campaign,” stated
Warren Henderson, Chairman of the NH Republican State Committee. “This illegal
activity is reprehensible. It’s obvious that the Baines campaign can’t win on
issues, so has to resort to dirty tricks to try to get ahead.”
Witnesses reported the theft to the Manchester Police Department shortly after
11:30pm last evening. After stealing the signs, Wetrosky drove to the home of NH
State Democrat Party Chair Kathy Sullivan located in Manchester. Police
discovered the stolen signs at Sullivan’s home located in Wetrosky’s vehicle. It
remains unclear what role Sullivan played in the incident. “What role did Kathy
Sullivan have in this?” Henderson continued. “Why were the stolen signs on her
property? Does she condone this illegal activity? She owes us an explanation.”
Republican officials intend to pursue this despicable act with the State
Attorney General’s office. The Manchester municipal elections will be held
tomorrow on November 8, 2005

NH GOP DEMANDS INVESTIGATION RE: DEM
SIGN STEALING
CONCORD – The New Hampshire Republican
State Committee today filed a formal complaint with the state
Attorney General’s Office over the campaign sign-stealing
incident that took place the evening of November 6th involving
the Baines for Mayor campaign in Manchester. That evening, Geoff
Wetrosky, Campaign Manager for the Baines for Mayor campaign,
was observed by an eyewitness stealing Guinta for Mayor campaign
signs from both private and possibly public property. After the
thefts, he was observed by several witnesses driving to the home
of New Hampshire Democrat State Committee Chairman Kathy
Sullivan in Manchester. Manchester City Police were alerted to
the theft and responded. Wetrosky was confronted by Manchester
City Police at the home of Kathy Sullivan and ultimately turned
over a number of both Guinta for Mayor campaign signs and
campaign signs belonging to the New Hampshire Republican State
Committee. Manchester Police then returned the stolen signs to
the Guinta campaign and to representatives of the state
Republican Party.
The New Hampshire Republican State
Committee filed complaints against Mr. Wetrosky, against
outgoing Manchester Mayor Bob Baines and against New Hampshire
Democrat State Committee Chairman Kathy Sullivan.
“This is not a case where some loose
cannon underling swiped a sign,” stated NHGOP Chairman Warren
Henderson. “These criminal acts were committed by the Baines for
Mayor Campaign Manager himself. The fact that the Baines for
Mayor Campaign Manager drove straight to the home of the state
Democrat Party Chair with the stolen signs makes this offense
all the more significant. That’s where the confrontation with
Manchester City Police took place. Our stolen campaign signs
were recovered from a car parked at Kathy Sullivan’s house.
That’s a fact.”
“New Hampshire law regarding the theft
of campaign signs is clear,” Henderson said. “It is illegal to
remove campaign signs from private property. Geoff Wetrosky,
Campaign Manager of the Baines for Mayor campaign, was observed
doing just that. He must be held accountable for these acts. In
addition, Manchester City Police recovered the stolen Guinta for
Mayor and New Hampshire GOP campaign signs at Kathy Sullivan’s
house. If our roles were reversed, she would have already
screamed herself hoarse demanding that action be taken against
me. She should hold herself to that same standard. We all
deserve to know why Mr. Wetrosky felt it was appropriate to
bring stolen campaign materials to Kathy Sullivan’s house. We
deserve to know if she had other stolen campaign materials at
her house. We deserve to know if she condoned Mr. Wetrosky’s
actions and if, in fact, she conceived the idea. We deserve to
know now.” |
